Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is an annual event sponsored by the Blackburn Center, A Greensburg area organization dedicated to protecting and assisting victims of domestic and sexual violence. Teams walk through Saint Clair Park in Greensburg while wearing heels (regardless of gender!) to call attention to gender-based violence and pledge to do what they can to help people of all identities feel safe in their environments.
OB-GYN Club and Sigma Sigma Phi is participating in this event and inviting the entire LECOM community. Participants pay a registration fee of $5 per person, which will be donated to the Blackburn Center to cover the costs of the event and their services which include an overnight shelter for victims of domestic violence, community education resources, and a 24/7 helpline available to the public.

Online event registration is available and will close at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 20. Registration will still be available in-person at the Walk beginning at 9:00am. The walk starts at 10:00am.
