The Evidence Based Medicine (EBM) Club promotes the understanding and application of evidence-based medicine among students. The club aims to foster critical thinking, strengthen research literacy, and encourage collaboration in the pursuit of evidence-based healthcare practices.
Throughout the year, the club hosts presentations featuring LECOM faculty and researchers from the surrounding community. The club also organizes key events including the Flu and COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic in the fall and the annual Research Symposium in the spring, where students present their scholarly work.
Through these activities, the EBM Club supports student engagement in research, promotes evidence-based clinical decision-making, and encourages service to the community.
